One of the leading automotive companies in the GCC is looking for an experienced Workshop Manager who has the ability to monitors the Workshop activities and ensures efficient use of available resources – technicians and equipment – in order to maximize the productivity of the Workshop service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Monitor the allocation of repair orders to ensure the right tasks are handed to the technicians with suitable skills for the job.
2.Facilitate the orientation of new team members in collaboration with the Workshop Manager by familiarizing them with work surroundings, explaining work hours, procedures, use of equipment and job expectations and ensure that new team members understand their respective duties.
3.Maximize the shop productivity by ensuring continuous workflow and proper application of the labor time guide as well as when and where to apply straight time.
4.Ensure that standard operating procedures are followed including health & safety standards for technicians and staff, proper use of tools and equipment and care of customers’ property.
5.Act as the interface between the technicians and the management.
6.Ensure that correct brand warranty policies and procedures are administered by monitoring warranty reject claims and controlling warranty replacement parts.
7.Maintain communication with Team Leaders and Technicians by clarifying diagnostic procedures and sharing and explaining new information in bulletins.
8.Monitor the quality of the services provided by the technicians to facilitate a high standard and raise the customer satisfaction index.
9.Assist when there is difficulty in interpreting a customer complaint and in the correct write-up of the complaint.
10.Evaluate technician skills and recommend future training requirements.
11.Provide reports related to departmental monthly targets and average productivity.
Desired Candidate Description
1.Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a BTL Executive responsible for the creation of new concepts and content for different campaigns.
2.Must be able to complete a wide range of activities - Client Management and Conflict Resolution
3.Must have a Strategic Mindset and come up with New Ideas
4.Excellent in Accounting of Events, Budget Achievement, and Team coordination.
5.Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
