We are looking for a competent 360 Recruitment Consultant to assist our clients in finding the best people to staff their business. You will be responsible to confidently sell tailored solutions to senior professionals by attracting the right candidates and managing the whole recruitment life cycle from interviewing through to job offer negotiations.
The tasks required include:
MARKETING -‐ It Is important that the consultant becomes an expert in the market within which they operate.
•Reading all newspapers and magazines pertaining to the market in which the consultant is working. Identify opportunities for business.
•Use the interview form provided by your division in the interview process and provide legible notes to each question.
•Ensure that all standard information pertaining to the candidate is transferred on to HRS including consultants notes and any relevant information regarding the candidate’s future placement potential.
•Provide a marketing plan for each candidate. This plan should be written on the candidate's application form for reverse marketing or comments as to why it was considered inappropriate to work on the case.
•All candidates should be provided with a clear understanding of the strategy you propose and their commitment sought either in writing or verbally to ring the consultant at a specified time.
•The consultant should be able to write suitable advertising and place it on internet advertising portals
•The consultant is responsible for fielding advertising response, ensuring that all inquiries are met with the highest respect for the candidate including rejection, not-‐suitable, file on record or other relevant responses.
•All responders (who are considered good candidates) are to be encouraged to send in their resumes to expand our overall database however only those candidates who are deemed as potential candidates for your division should be interviewed.
•Consultants are responsible for recruiting suitable candidates for every job using the internet and direct approach (headhunting) sourcing techniques
•Build a strong pipeline of candidates
•Recruiting phone calls to potential “targeted/headhunt” candidates should be handled in such a manner that it appears we are seeking advice from a targeted candidate rather than a direct approach
•The consultant is expected to spend a major amount of their time doing recruiting calls and recruiting hits should be recorded on HRS
•The consultant is responsible for referring enough candidates to the positions available to ensure the client will have a reasonable selection. Usually, 3 candidates per job are adequate
•A trained consultant should have 12-‐15 referrals each week or 50-‐60 each month
•All referrals should be recorded on HRS
RESUMES AND REPORTS
•The consultant is responsible for writing resumes for candidates as required.
•Consultants should organize the preparation of resumes with the administration staff or type it themselves
•The consultant should write a ‘Consultant’s Report’ to be presented to the client with the resume
•The consultant is responsible for arranging interviews
•The consultant is responsible for preparing the candidate for the job interview, describing the job to people and the environment and the expectations of the job.
•References must be checked prior to a candidate being appointed. Unfavorable references should be reported to the manager.
•The consultant is responsible for keeping in touch on a regular basis (eg 1 monthly intervals) with the candidate whom he/she interviewed.
