Job Description
One of the world’s largest automotive aftermarket product manufacturer is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer. You will be responsible for the budget achievement of Volume and Market share and responsible for implementation of company strategy in designated markets, working very closely with the channel partners.
Ideal candidates must have relevant experience in tire industry dealing with both sales and technical department. Must have solid knowledge of the GCC market and must be willing to travel frequently.
Responsibilities
•Ensure company partners supply superior products and services by promoting fleet approach, Service Van, Web Toolbox and 3M Programs.
•Be on the Field to propose a Solutions package to combine New Tyre and Retread Tyre package.
•Follow-up distributors’ sales and products performance through Bridgestone programs.
•Conduct and analyze competitors’ activities in terms of 4Ps through various surveys and VOCs in order to grasp the changes in markets’ trends in order to execute the proper countermeasures
•Conduct count surveys on regular basis, then analyze surveys’ data to grasp markets’ trends and visualizing markets’ outline to decide on future products and
marketing strategies.
•Support new product development
•Conduct periodical scrap surveys and analyzing claims composition
•Judge- analyze claimed Tyres reports and claim notes
•Support distributors in planning and executing the test in their markets.
•Effective and immediate action with distributors & OEs
•Train and coach partners team to properly execute technical activities
•Plan and conduct technical training for distributors, dealers, and customers to enhance their knowledge about Tyres and the proper usage as to minimize their running cost
Desired Candidate Description
•University Degree
•3 years (depending on role) experience of Sales Engineer or similar
•Experience from a multinational environment
•Relevant geographical experience
•Fluent in English & Arabic
•Minimum 3 years in the tire business
•Solid knowledge of GCC markets and environment
•Willing to travel frequently
